Back from Las Vegas!

So Raeleen and I went to Las Vegas this last week for 5 days. We went to WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), which is a seminar and tradeshow driven convention with over 10,000 photographers from around the world held every year in Vegas.

We had a great time! We had the opportunity to check out new products to start offering our brides and among other things, meet and develop relationships with other photographers in the wedding business. We just got back in, so I'm still going through some of the shots we took, but I'll be putting up a slideshow on our blog soon to show you our trip. Keep posted!

NW Bridal Showcase - Jan. 19th and 20th, 2008

Our first bridal show! After shooting weddings for two years now, and starting into our 3rd, Rae and I signed up for our first wedding show. Our booth got a lot of attention and we had a great time. It's nice to meet a lot of new people in the industry and get an opportunity to talk with a lot of newly engaged couples. Here are a couple of shots of the booth.

Lyle and Tracey - December 29th, 2007

For just a moment, right in the middle of their vows, it began to snow outside. That was really beautiful. A wonderful moment that just seemed to fit with the feel of Lyle and Tracey's wedding. From getting ready, to leaving their reception at Cedarbrook, Raeleen and I spent the day capturing Tracey's lovely wedding. We hope you enjoy a few of their pictures...

Robin and Adam - November 3rd, 2007

Robin and Adam's wedding atop the Newcastle Golf Course was amazing. What a breathtaking view to accent such a gorgeous wedding. Take a look at some of their shots, what a beautiful couple! Make sure to check out the shot of Robin being hoisted up for the Jewish chair dance :)

Christine and Brent - October 6th, 2007

A little rain and mist up at the Salish lodge certainly did not stop Christine and Brent from having a beautiful evening wedding. They wanted all candid shots, with no formals. So Rae and I just let their fun and emotion come out and that's what we captured. Here are a few candids of the night...
